Beyond the Pose

This is not a typical yoga workshop.

It’s an immersive experience designed to help you understand how your body actually works—so your movement, energy, and results begin to make sense.

Drawing from neurometabolic science, global retreat work, and years of coaching women and men in real-world environments (from mountains to oceans to studio floors), this workshopbridges the gap between yoga, fitness, and physiology.

You’ll learn how to work with your body instead of against it.

Inside the session, we’ll explore The Four Foundations of Fitness—a framework that helps you intelligently cycle through different types of movement based on your nervous system, energy levels, and recovery capacity. Whether you track biomarkers or simply learn to read your body, you’ll walk away knowing how to adjust your training in real time.

We’ll also break down:

  • How yoga impacts the brain and nervous system—and why it’s powerful, but not enough on its own

  • How to use breath and internal awareness to improve strength, endurance, and recovery

  • The stress curve: why timing, intensity, and emotional state change your results

  • How to recognize when your body needs stability, strength, or restoration

This is not just educational—you’ll feel it.

Through guided movement, breathwork, and applied practice, you’ll experience each foundation in your body so you can leave with clarity, not confusion.

Movement • Strength • Rhythm • Nervous System Training

DIEP Fitness & Exploration is a weekly movement experience designed to help people build strength, resilience, metabolic health, and a deeper relationship with their bodies through intelligent exercise, rhythm, and community.

Each class cadences between different styles of interval training using bodyweight movement, functional fitness, mobility work, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and coordinated group movement. Participants are welcome to bring weights to increase intensity and personalize their experience.

This is not about punishing the body. It is about learning how to work with your physiology — understanding effort, recovery, rhythm, and adaptation in a more sustainable and empowering way.

Classes may include:

  • interval training

  • strength & stability work

  • mobility and coordination

  • nervous system regulation

  • breathwork integration

  • functional movement patterns

  • outdoor conditioning

  • rhythm-based movement

  • partner and community exercises

  • freeform dance and exploration

There is always space to dance.

The class is rooted in the belief that movement is more than exercise — it is communication with the body, the environment, and the nervous system. Through challenge, rhythm, music, and connection, participants build physical capacity while also developing emotional resilience, confidence, and presence.

All levels are welcome. Modifications and progressions are offered throughout class.

A Nervous System & Movement Experience

The Mountain Journey is an immersive outdoor experience designed to reconnect you to your body, breath, rhythm, and sense of aliveness through movement, nature, sound, and community.

This is not simply a workout, yoga class, or meditation. It is a guided experiential journey that blends neurometabolic movement, nervous system regulation, breathwork, music, group connection, and gong integration to help participants reset physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Set on the beautiful grounds of Villa De Amis, we’ll move through a progression designed to help you:

  • regulate stress physiology

  • reconnect to your body’s natural rhythms

  • improve presence and emotional resilience

  • awaken energy and creativity

  • explore movement as ceremony and self-inquiry

  • experience the power of group synchronization and co-regulation

The experience includes:

Shoulder Opening Workshop

Shoulder care is one of the most important things to focus on when building a strong yoga practice. The ability for us to breathe proper is dependent on shoulder mobility. Opening the shoulders opens the heart, and shifts your breath to create a different energy in the system.
In this workshop, you will learn techniques to open and strengthen your shoulders, and how the breath is connected to it all. Taylors approach introduces new concepts she's developed with her Method called DIEP Fitness & Exploration.

Once the shoulders are warm, conditioned and open Taylor will guide you into becoming a master of your Chaturangas. Practice techniques that will inform your body for remarkable strength.

The Science and practical method of Yoga can be developed through Asana and pranayama (breath control) techniques.
From the “Ghosh” Lineage originates the 84 class & 26 series. The Master, or Advanced class (84 poses) serves those of you curious; seeking a deeper exploration into the vibration or their tissues, observing how these frequencies shift within the various shapes constructed during class. You will have opportunities to adventure, play, focus, laugh, and observe.
The class is heated, combining the 26 postures from the beginners class with other more technical postures requiring specific strength, balance, flexibility; all embodied with devotion & humility.

You will learn drills and practice posture(s) that integrate well with other styles of Yoga. And have the time to practice more challenging postures, celebrating each other in the room along the way.


Taylor encourages each Yogi to use their experience as a reference, a path for noticing and dissolving or disillusioning through the process of discipline, focus and letting go.


Prepare as you would for 90 26/2 class. Eat light and finish your largest meal 4hours before class.

This will transform how you move; how you think about movement, and how you engage with your natural surroundings.

Taylor uses her extensive background in the sciences, and adept experience in fitness, meal design & cognition, to bring you the BEST type of energy !

You will leave with more focus, energy, awareness, muscular circulation, neurological networking and many more beneficial stimulating effects.

Come with a Yoga Mat, Towel, water, comfortable clothes (like you were going to a yoga class), an extra layer or light blanket for closing breathing exercise. You may bring a pad and writing/drawing instrument if you feel called to take notes during the workshop.
